Backyard Fun

Happy Thursday everyone, did you survive tax day??? I got mine and Sharla's taxes done, but had to do an extension for mom because she didn't get a W-2 from Social Security. But hopefully will be able to file it next week. But enough boring stuff, I'm here today to show you layouts I made with a great kit by Designing Divas called Backyard Fun. It is perfect for all those photos of your kids playing outside and so much more!!!

I did my first layout for the recipe challenge at Stuff to Scrap and really had fun using the little bug elements. The photos are of my little bugaboo aka Tucker.

My second layout is of a bee in bluebonnets. Sharla and I really love capturing bees in our photos in the spring time. I saw the bee element and just had to use it. This kit is versatile enough that you can use it for so much more than just backyard kid pictures.

So head over to Stuff to Scrap and pick up Backyard Fun, because I know you'll find lots of uses for it.

Happy Easter

Yes I know I'm a week late, but hey that's me. Actually I'm here to show you layouts I made with a new kit by Digi-designs by Nicole called Happy Easter. It is a fun kit packed with lots of Easter goodies.

My first layout I did for the scraplift challenge at Stuff to Scrap. I love the bright colors in the kit and all the wonderful flowers.

My second layout features Cole. I caught him biting the ears off the chocolate bunny in his Easter bag. He was just like a little kid, and took great pleasure in biting those ears!!! I used the tape in the kit and there is a great tutorial on Nicole's blog on how make it look really cool.

So head over to Stuff to Scrap and pick up Happy Easter, it will be a great addition to your stash.

Prehistoric Pals & a Freebie

Happy Sunday all, I hope you are having a wonderful Palm Sunday. Can you believe it is already April??? I know I can't. I've not pranked anyone or been pranked yet, and I hope it stays that way. Today I'm here to show you a layout I made using a new collab by Scraps by Andrea and Queen Wild Scraps called Prehistoric Pals and it's companion Prehistoric Pals Cardstock. It is a fun kit perfect for all your dino pics. Great colors and fun elements will land this one in your favorites.

My layout features one Cole Garrett, when he was just a little smaller...ok a lot smaller. He was such a cute kid. Not that he isn't cute now. He was on the front step of mom and dad's old house. I loved the little creatures in the kit and just had to use as many of them as possible.

I created a little freebie for you from the kit as well. The preview is linked so simply click on it to download. And as always don't hesitate to leave a comment.

Make sure after you download the freebie you head over to Stuff to Scrap and pick up Prehistoric Pals and Prehistoric Pals Cardstock for your stash.  And also Scraps by Andrea is the Featured Designer at Stuff to Scrap right now so that means wonderful prizes, just check out the linked flier.
