Watermelon Crawl & A Freebie

If you drink don't drive do the Watermelon Crawl. Everyone should be glad you can't hear me sing as I type this post (hehehe). Well I'm not writing about the song, but about a new kit from Scraps by Andrea. Watermelon Crawl is a bright and fun kit that is perfect for scrapping your little girl! There are 21 papers & 68 elements in this *sweet* kit. Pink and green are one of my favorite color combinations and this kit is just perfect for me.

My first layout I did for the song lyric challenge at Stuff to Scrap. The song is "In My Daughters Eyes" by Martina McBride. A very beautiful song. When I saw the lyrics, I knew right away I wanted a Tom and Callie page. I debated on using an older or new photo, but none of them really had the colors of the kit in them. So with a little photoshop magic, I change the red to green in this photo. I also made this layout into a QP that is available at the bottom of the post.

My second layout is Callie too, but the picture is just a little older. She was wearing the cutest little shirt that had neon pink, neon green and orange bows that fit the kit perfectly. I have to say I love this kit, the papers are wonderful and it has flowers, ribbons, frames, just everything you need to make great pages.
